TASK RECIPE

Fetch a brand kit before your coding agent builds a landing page.

Before the agent writes any JSX or design tokens, so the logo, colours, and fonts come from the source site rather than a guess.

When to use it

Run this when the job is already on your plate.

Who it is for

Developers and designers who hand a page build to Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or another coding agent and want it styled with the real brand.

When to run it

Before the agent writes any JSX or design tokens, so the logo, colours, and fonts come from the source site rather than a guess.

Install

One command, one prompt.

Install the canonical brand-kit skill, then hand your agent the prompt below. You can also call the underlying endpoints directly with curl.

Prompt

Fetch the brand kit for linear.app with the brand-kit skill, then build a single-file landing page hero that uses its logo, primary colours, and font stack. Expose the returned hex values as CSS custom properties, and tell me which assets were available versus missing.

Verified example

Small input, real output.

One zero-auth JSON read returns the identity, brand kit, quality, and provenance. Values below were captured live from linear.app on 2026-10-04.

Input
curl --fail-with-body https://brand.replynodes.com/linear.app.json
Output
GET https://brand.replynodes.com/linear.app.json → 200 OK · application/json

Free vs authenticated

Know exactly where the free path ends.

Free / no key

The brand endpoint is free and zero-auth — one bare domain returns the brand kit. No signup, key, MCP connection, or credits.

Authenticated enrichment

The authenticated /v1/brand/* routes (brand_styleguide, brand_fonts, brand_logo, brand_retrieve) are a separate metered surface; the landing-page job does not need them.

Evidence behavior

The response is read-only public evidence: identity, brand_kit, quality, and provenance, with conditional fields omitted when an asset is missing. The provenance block records the source and fetch time, and assets are returned as-is — no asset is invented.

Install brand-kit.
